Established in 2004, Grape Networks is a pioneer in standard's based Wireless Sensor Networks. The Grape Networks system is a self configuring, self-healing system of redundant, low-cost, very low-power nodes that enables "flexibility, mobility and ease of use."

With Grape Networks' Mesh Networking System, five sensors are incorporated into one low power module. Thresholds are established using the Internet with either a cellular modem, WiFi or Satellite for the remote monitoring and control of Micro Sensors.

Most recently the company has entered the Oil & Gas market with low

power and mobile Methane and Hydrogen Sulfide Sensors.

The Grape Networks’ Management platform has hundres of MOTES which allow for the monitoring and control of the Micro Climate or Industrial Process. The soil / moisture/ temperature / Methane and Hydrogen Sulfide are measured with multiple wireless micro sensors embedded in the field or in machines. Thresholds are set by the client via the Internet and alerts are sent anywhere in the World.

The MOTES operate in a wireless mesh network, similar to the Internet, and can send data through valleys, rivers, mountains and fields. All data is sent wirelessly to a central server where it is processed and sent to the client.
